Cullen Harbour Association was keen to transform an old heritage property into a boat building and repair workshop with office space. With a grant for the renovations, they wanted to encourage people of all ages to get involved in this community project.
The client need
They asked us to install the electrics – wiring, power, lighting, IT and fire alarms. It was great to be involved in a local community project.
The NES response
We made sure it all looked great, adding to the character of the building. To add extra warmth and safety, we also installed frost protection and PIR controls. We worked closely with the architects and the committee to provide affordable energy-efficient equipment and systems.
The client benefits
Every aspect of this project was a success – and it was delivered on time and on budget. The client was delighted with the quality of our work. We were delighted to be involved in this worthwhile community project and have since donated an NES Trophy for their annual boat building competition.
Professor Ashley Mowatt, Cullen Harbour Association:
Thanks to NES for a friendly, efficient and very professional completion of the electrical installation in the Cullen Sea School. Your post-installation checking visit was also much appreciated
